Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah says he is impressed with WAFA’s output in the ongoing Ghana Premier League.
Appiah who was appointed as Avram Grant’s successor have already started haunting for local talents.
Appiah was in the stands on Wednesday at the Sogakope Park when WAFA continued with their fairytale run as they beat Liberty Professionals 2-1.
The Academy boys took a two-goal lead courtesy Komla Agbeniandan’s brace, but Samuel Sarfo pulled one back for Liberty.
“I am very impressed with WAFA, this is my first time watching them, both teams played well but I think WAFA deserved the victory, he said in an interview with reporters after the game.
WAFA are leading the Ghana Premier League table with 29 points after 13 games.
