Hacken Sporting Director, Sonny Karlsson, has denied reports which suggest that, Hearts of Oak marksman, Kwame Kizito, is on verge of joining his side after agreeing to sign the player on a three-year deal.
The 21-year-old who parted ways with Hearts last month after refusing to extend his stay at the club has led to a feud between the player and the club, with Hearts rejecting a purported $25000 training and development fee from Swedish side, which led to him being declared a free agent by the Status Committee of the Ghana Football Association.
According to the Hacken sporting director, the youngster was offered to them for assessment, they have no plans to sign him ahead of the 2018 season.
“At the moment, there is nothing like negotiations ongoing between us and any player called Kwame Kizito,” Karlson told SVT Sports .
“We have no interest in the player as reports suggest. We are offered many players most times and of course we always check up the player but not all get the chance to represent us,” he added.
The Black Stars B striker had a successful outing for Ghana at this year’s WAFU Cup of Nations and has emerged as top target for numerous teams both on the local and international front.
